Dr. Jean Barwell

Dr. Jean Barwell has been at Dixie Road Medical since 2006.

She did her medical school at McMaster University and her residency in Family Medicine at Mount Sinai Hospital in Toronto.

She then worked on staff at St Michael’s hospital before joining the Dixie Road group.

She practices comprehensive family medicine, seeing patients of all ages, with a variety of medical problems.

It is therefore essential that you direct all your primary care medical needs to your family doctor and avoid going to walk-in clinics.

If you do require a service that your family doctor doesn’t provide, please talk with your doctor first and they will arrange the necessary referral.

Please note all of our nine physicians work four weekdays per week as well as their evening, weekend and hospital commitments.

Here at Dixie Road Medical Associates, we have nine family doctors. We currently have five female physicians and four male physicians.⇐
